PROGRAM:
Workshop 1: 07.20.24, 2:00 - 3:15 PM:
Ladies technique (Celeste & Maude)
Following is not a passive role. It requires body control, attention and a reactive posture to enable presence and connection. In this workshop we will work on the foundation to achieve this.
Firstly we will work on the foundation for a healthy posture and foot position and look at placement for a stable axis. Then we will work on basic concepts such as walking in tango (forwards and backwards), dissociation and turns (ochos, giros). At the end of the lesson we will also look at a few embellishments and incorporate them into the steps we have learnt.
Suitable for all levels.
Worshop 2: 07.20.24, 2:00 - 3:15 PM:
Men’s technique (Andrés & Burak)
This workshop focuses on the technique of leading. We start with the basics such as posture and body placement and then work our way up to more complex exercises that are helpful when performing figures such as giros and sacadas.

Workshop 3: 07.20.24, 3:30 - 4:45 PM:
Dance creativity in small spaces (Burak & Maude):
In this workshop we will discover the freedom of creative dance, especially when space is limited. We will work on a few fine sequences and see how they can be varied.
From intermediate level.
Workshop 4: 07.20.24, 5:00 - 6:15 PM:
Barridas and Sacadas (Andrés & Celeste)
In this workshop we will work on these two fine figures and integrate them into the dance. We will also dance them to melodic orchestras and see how they best fit the music.

Workshop 5: 07.21.24, 2:00 - 3:15 PM:
Sacadas, Ganchos and Boleos (Burak & Maude):
This workshop focuses on these three figures, the clean execution technique and the different ways of combining them.

Workshop 6: 07.21.24, 3:30 - 4:45 PM:
Vals (Andrés & Celeste):
In this workshop we will learn fine and circular combinations that are ideal for vals.

Práctica: 07.21.24, 5:00 - 6:30 PM:

This Práctica is the opportunity to practice what you have learned during the weekend, to try out the steps with other partners and to end the weekend in a cozy atmosphere. The four of us will be on hand to support you and answer any questions you may have.
